HYDROPHOBIC 9H CERAMIC PROTECTIVE COATING

Magic HD Coat - Hydrophobic

9H Ceramic Coating

Hydrophobic 9H Ceramic Coating

Magic HD Coat is a highly advanced SiO2 hydrophobic  9H coating it was specially designed to unfilled needs of the marine, military and aerospace sectors. It is massively resistant to corrosion, abrasion and temperature. It can be applied to painted surfaces, plastic and metal. The coating can be heat cured, or cured at room temperature. Magic HD Coat reacts with the surface and forms an abrasion resistant coating with very high bonding properties especially on metal. It generates thin, invisible layer with high impact strength, resistant to alkali, abrasion and corrosion.

Magic HD Coat Properties

DESCRIPTION

  • For industrial and professional application

  • Contains solvent (not water)

  • Clear, colorless liquid

  • Ultra high performance, hardness of 7-9H

  • High impact strength

  • Water/dirt-repellent coating of nonabsorbent materials in outdoor and indoor areas

  • Can create high glossy appearance if needed

RESISTANCE TO CHEMICALS
  • Extremely resistant to corrosion, abrasion, acids and alkali within the range ph 2 - 12 in diluted form, sea water and salty air (extensive Salt spray testing has been conducted. In addition testing shows, it’s resistance to rocket fuel!)

  • Highly resistant to a large number of organic solvents

REDUCES COST

  • Treated surfaces remain clean for prolonged periods and are "easy to clean"

  • Protected surfaces provide reduced costs for cleaning and care

TEMPERATURES RESISTANCE

  • Heat resistant up to 700°C working temperature, 800°C peak

  • Cold resistant up to -90°C

DURABILITY

  • Highly effective for up to 25 years if applied in industrial environment on metal

  • Up to 10 years on car body if professionally applied

  • Up to 3 years on alloy weals

COATING HARDNESS

  • Heat drying increases the hardness of the coating, which ranges from 7H (for room temperature curing) to 9H (for heat curing)

  • Contact angle: 105°
